Flowers, fruits and vegetables all have something in common - Bees! Bees are responsible for pollinating around 90% of nature's bounty. Or put more plainly, most of what you and I like to eat. So you're safe in saying they are a pretty important part of the environment.

At HexEculture, and Barbarian Bees in particular, our goal isn't simply to raise bees and harvest honey. We look at keeping bees as more than a business. By helping raise bees in as natural environment as possible, we're helping restore the honeybee population. Without them flowers don't bloom, fruits don't grow, and honey certainly doesn't get made. Connecting local growers and consumers through school and community gardens we hope to educate while helping to feed those in need. We love our bees and hope you do too.
